Back to Blogging

I'm trying to get organized enough to do more frequent blog postings.  Bear with me, please, as I fumble my way through the technical aspects of doing this.  Did I mention that I'm a 'computer-phobic' working with both hands in braces?

I'll post a few short blogs while I sort out how to add links and images.  Cross your fingers.

I ran across a relatively new mineral at the Tucson Gem and Mineral Shows a year or so ago.  It's called 'Sonoran Sunrise' or sometimes 'Sonoran Sunset'.  The stone is mined in the Mexican state of Sonora and will be in short supply unless they find new sources.

Tomato red with green, turquoise and aqua patterns, make this strikingly beautiful.

  5. Best wishes with blogging. I completely understand. My last one was November of last year until recently. I now have a calendar printed out to write when I blog. We'll see if it helps.

Lovely stone! You make so many beautiful pieces!

  6. Hi, thought I'd check out your blog after your lovely comment on my Elements Inspired article.

Have you tried scheduling your blog posts? I find it really helpful because I can write 3 or 4 blog posts at once when I feel really inspired and then schedule them throughout the week so I have a post appear every couple of days. I also find it motivates me to have 'series' such as my Etsy Spotlight series, and I have started a new series about my trip to Venice in July.

  7. Oh, just tried your Etsy link and it doesn't work. The link you have is http//www.etsy.com/shop/calliopeazcreations but it should be http://www.etsy.com/shop/calliopeazcreations - you missed out the comma thing after the http. Sorry to nitpick but thought you ought to know!!
